Heather Beyer was a 32 year old paralegal who was killed in a collision by a car ramming into a crowd of anti-hate protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia. Beyer will be remembered by this site for her fearless fight against injustice in the face of a growing cancer of hate that exists in our society today.
Heather’s mom, Susan Bro stated, “Heather was about bringing an end to injustice. I don’t want her death to be a focus for more hatred, I want her death to be a rallying cry for justice and equality and fairness and compassion.”
Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe did the right thing by announcing her stand against hate. The world will remember you Heather.
