Appropriate Anger

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” (Ephesians 4: 26-27 KJV)

The beach against the tide

has nowhere it can hide.

Were it a soul against spite,

mercilessly the spite derides.

For those without sight

or those who can’t fight

mercy pleases God’s eyes

as we offer them respite.

Even God loosed his anger

for those who plot danger.

Against a helpless stranger.

His came inside a manger.

My blood it does boil

when the helpless toil.

Who’s blood finds soil

in tears of pain embroil.

Would we fight for those?

In the least our anger show?

For those whom do blow

injustices against a rose?

Must we suffer truly?

No way and absolutely.

I know now how bullies

bring out the worst of me.

I know it is a sad truth.

Some will and do abuse.

It is okay that I do use.

Anger on paper for you.

When words hit the page

my anger becomes assuaged.

Live will words past days.

Though anger will go away.
