Past Our Hell

Hold together

as if a tight knot.

Arms and legs

where time’s forgot.

Throw thoughts

around the room.

Paint it all black

if it you choose.

Or sing tunes

among a choir.

Find the notes

heart’s desire.

You perspire,

in journeys call.

Breathe friends;

fear not at all.

Construct halls

that echo around.

So you may live

within the sound.

Notes found

that you sing

in one’s arms

harmony brings.

Embrace, cling

then burn pain.

So you will rise

staying sane.

Over the veil

that we prevail

sight assails

past our hell.

So compel

up your arms

to receive

fate’s charm.

If there alarm,

break from jail.

Free your will,

ride atop the sail.

Heat does well,

melt pain’s sin.

To give to your

lungs the wind.

I pray again

the Lord I tell

found have I

paths and trails.

Over the veil

that we prevail

sight assails

past our hell.
