My eyes see you I do
ponder all the day long.
Where was it I’ve seen or
heard such bliss in song?
I reel from the torturous
days that I used to placate
me since my love left me
lost inside hell’s fiery gate.
I a cobweb I transparent
start to now come together
after torrential tsunamis;
hurricane force weather.
It is a lovely thought I,
on this Valentines Day,
can tell you a few words
that make pleasant ways.
Arround me in chains riled
by death knocking at doors;
suddenly fall now by my side
finding their pile on the floor.
I am moving life has found
life inside my being yet.
So I’ve written a few words
so I will never now forget.
That you passed my eyes,
we spoke to share laughter,
inside our days of our peril
that propel me by disaster.
A smile and respite they
make me grin and smile
smiles of joy and comfort
that I’ve not felt in awhile.
My eyes are empty so void,
sockets really that they are;
you’ve made my extremities
start to soften my old scars.
What more are we all now
than beasts roaming starved?
We are fickle to the taste of
the nectar of release’s charm.
Beautifully written & sweet as always. 😊 Happy Valentine’s Day, Winchester!
