The Animal Inside

Our relations

we do correlate

in synapses in

a mental state.

See me now

even before I

think lashings

that of demise.

We cover faces

in ribbons tie

eyes to not see;

us yell crucify.

We beckon faith

for sight to see;

no dove are we

above a breeze.

Our affliction

it’s underneath.

Accept tainted

ire if breached.

Found me you

have my friend.

Little you did

know we’re kin.

Crawl in dark

we do to not see

any form from

an inner beast.

Not alone is a

brutal fed brain.

It is the animal

inside we tame.
