Our Eden

Crack in the ceiling,

endlessly believing

what your’e feeling

God will be forgiving.

In a garden weeping,

on a cross a sacrifice,

in an empty tomb he

liberated us so to rise.

You’ve made a way,

upon a rock a skull,

where all can follow

and hear songs lull.

Armor it falls away

in bed you lay down.

The ceiling crashes

abrupt upon ground.

I want your sins love,

all that cocoons fire.

That which was lost in

Eden don’t give it ire.

King of kings forgave

ways we can behave.

Imperfection it stays;

under the crack relate.

Let us live this night,

step into our rooms,

ascend our spirits to

let passion in bloom.

    This is so beautiful, Jared!! “I want your sins love, all that cartoons fire.” That may be my favorite line ever written. No joke! 🙌😍
