Liberate you I did
but still bound we
craft fancy delight;
what we used to be.
Our destruction is
a tale for the ages;
I try to capture it
in our fabled pages.
See me as I explore
the valleys to peaks
that give us context
and beauty to speak.
Excel me you rush
blood through veins
that birth tranquil
waters that sustain.
We are like the birds,
then again not really.
We soar above it all
and sum it up as silly.
Our indignant quips
about life we shared
the real parts of us
that none knew there.
Unable to let go so us
bound must now live
in the passionate past
love to us it did give.
Oh wow!! I love this too!!! You’re just too good, how could I ever choose just one favorite?
