An Azure Dawn

I see blue I see you

dressed in diamond

diving into dreams

calling on an island.

The shore is so soft

but heat it blisters.

Enchanted I do ask

how ever resist her?

Eyes glance across

rooms they’re drawn

into your replication

of some azure dawn.

Be the master that

you’ve always been

of commanding all

into innocent sins.

What is the dawn if

it’s not pleasing eyes?

Simple truth obvious

do what you realize.

Even dressed plain I

see a graceful queen.

It illuminates beneath

and it is felt not seen.

Which heart will you

brighten this dark day?

Which angel up above

will jealous you make?

Your own heaven it’s

a haven for you strong.

Above and below sky

both places you belong.
