Wicked Device

I imagine freedom I

dream of those places

where none singled

out defend their faces.

A scheme of the devil

does construct a hate.

That roars as if a lion

in society it permeates.

Breathe we must go

easy and stand so firm.

For lessons taught so

long must be relearned.

Driving out darkness

it needs a splendid light.

That speaks to darkness

of where we shall fight.

In the upper echelons it

deepens in a soiled poise

in those who cowardly

wrench a guttural noise.

Call us to the towers of

our humanity does life.

To place down at feet

strife of a wicked device.

Saturate we in kindness

we must our precepts to

bring justice in the sun

we need see a skies truth.

I rest my head in a night

that covers our universe.

That aches in the stomach;

for softness it does thirst.
