Where Peace Births

In the failing light,

upon hills of grass,

touched by a wind

imagination grasps.

Where will I take

my mind here now?

See I jaded images,

ears hear its sound.

Chaos is a tune in

my mind I try hard

to capture memory

in shattered shards.

Pieces of me a cut

from my pursuit I

bear many scars so

many times I cried.

A moment my love

for life it was gone.

So here in grass sit

I will all a day long.

I see the wind take

the water and a sky

where I have looked

at a thousand times.

Every time I return I

seek a pristine peace.

I beg at places serene,

peace to let me sleep.

How to capture sight

and mold it in words

I struggle every day I

deny hate, love birth.
