Courage I Surmise

I hear my disease

spill from tounge,

a rancor not polite,

I seek where from.

Retreat so to think

I in a solitude sick

see an angst climb

walls built so thick.

A heart I try spark

but its match is out.

Try I see the lining

in blackened clouds.

My soul does flee,

a foulness pursues,

I search myself as

if a newborn youth.

Touch turns toxic

from a heart dead.

Bled is my delight

in rivers of dread.

I search courage I

surmise I do have;

to heal I’ll search it,

I a roughen path.
