A Truth With You

I no immortal

feel day’s grip.

Night to day I

in the real live.

A river my lip

I touch quells

a thirst desire

truth you tell.

Autumn light,

changed night

under I a sky I

need a respite.

Sleep I in tune

with reality it’s

hours covered

by lies in a mist.

Scattered lies

cover as leaves.

Touch me bring

a serene relief.

Such places try,

I ask to supply,

a candor simple

spoken tonight.

Not alone want

I this life to face

briars inside life

of liars’ embrace.

I want taste the

water it trickles

from your lips a

truth so simple.
