Eternal Oblivion

I once knew

the devil he

brought not

truth for me.

In here I am

my own liar.

Truth found

did hurt dire.

Prism a truth

shed light by

refraction in

a deep divide.

Recesses my

discovery it

was in youth

a loose grip.

Time turns,

halts none.

There’s sin in

past undone.

Skin folds,

it wrinkles.

I try grip it,

life essential.

Thought I

solved in me

where youth

it failed see.

As if a ghost

it me haunts;

stains remain

in a thought.
