Hunger Of The Heart

The time came

the other day;

for your touch

hunger prayed.

Empty bones

were shred up

as I took inside

an empty cup.

Logic left me I

sought a relief

in memories of

you I try keep.

Yet desolate I

have you not.

Love returned

I have forgot.

A black void I

called it home.

I see in a dark,

I am not alone.

What came to

a query sought

was a related

feeling fought.

My dear peril,

of it my plauge,

discriminates

none to escape.

Want multiplies

in solitary days.

There are those

who say same.

I’ll allow hands

of hunger touch

me as I starve I

need as much.
