Across the sky

you soar to fly;

eyes mine find

such a surprise.

I thought your

days numbered;

in a dark cloud

you laid under.

Explosion in air

it finds my stare.

I see in the sky

reborn you there.

Shed have you a

rancor the cold

you did learn as

time it did mold.

In flames a peril

but you still sane

take life’s pain to

now turn a page.

Your wings now

find a biting air,

but you strong

still fly up there.

From ashes you

a phoenix arise;

even inside fire

you still survive.
