Twilight My Damsel

I’ve seen the twilight,

the shimmer employs.

I bask in pieces of it

so that I it may enjoy.

Where the sun breaks

it does through trees.

There you’ll find me,

down upon my knees.

To crave, to pray or I,

as just a living vessel,

have seen the light

and I find it a damsel.

Distressed I reach it

to find illumination;

enlightened by such I

dream my creation.
