Songs I Grew Up To

I know everyone has their own taste of music. This is mine. I would love writing songs with a female lead vocal with lyrics by me.

Yet that is called a pipe-dream. It won’t happen but it is my place of zen I usually am staring out into; with a blank stare on my face.

I grew up to all these songs. It is hard to pick a favorite so I thought I’d share a few that I hold dear to my childhood, my depression and anxieties.

I am a child of the 80’s. Yet the 90’s is when I started taking notes and thinking I one day could make a song as amazing as these. These songs made me into what I am today.

I still have obstacles but if I learn to use the hurt in a poem or song I take every piece of me and purify it. These are childhood memories as our dawn on this earth fades away forever I hope these are songs people associate me with.

Thank you again everyone. Take care and enjoy these songs which I am lucky to have heard.
