Spectre

I met you once,

I smart a dunce;

drugged up now

I feel a nuisance.

The curves stick

in a cloud so thick

flickered a switch

flashed lit quick.

Haunt does tone,

a tune I’ve known,

shakes my bones

so I hunger home.

Faded silhouette,

shadows I sweat.

Day dream I get

caught in your net.

Far from me I see

the firm but sweet

wandering ideas be

the reality of me.

I’m not delving out

adoring little pouts

released by mouth;

I’m scared but stout.

Linger does a way

soft, real not a play

of which on stage

my eyes look, blaze.
