Not Made Alone

on

Do you see the
light at the end
of a tunnel stand
there I do friend?

Know wrenching
I do in a stomach.
I softly try move,
I grow on from it.

Your cautious and
I don’t blame you.
What in this crazy
world can we do?

An embattlement
may seem strong.
It is why hands as
mine bring along.

You’re the object
to spears onslaught
that cause a stress;
please feel it not.

Me amongst many
have been seasoned
by hell’s heat so let’s
seek logical reason.

My hand’s tattered
and the years show.
See innocent notion,
take my hand hold.

I need it just as you,
the turn toward me.
Together in this life;
let’s spawn a unity.

  2. You’ve captured the need for connectedness in a world that’s steadily moving towards apathy very well

    And we meet again. I’ve been going through even more of your poetry and may I take the honour of saying that it is breathtaking. Everything makes sense. The enjambment works pretty well too. But the thing that sets your poems apart is the saturation of memories in them. Each one is so relatable and deeply soothing. Followed you. May there be peace when you find it.
    Admiringly,
    Shanyu.

    1. Being able to put on paper how you feel is very therapeutic. I don’t consider myself a poet. So that means a lot to me what you just said.

        I’m glad this counts. That’s the power of words. They relieve you of the pain, and they truly matter. I must commend your humility when you say so, but I must say that you are one hell of a poet. You just are. I hope you are doing fine. Please take care and keep writing. Reading your poetry is therapeutic too. Waiting to hear from you.
