Where It Belongs

I try pry
sapphire
in an eye
in desire.

The time
it is gone
where it
belongs.

So let’s be
shit crazy;
together
breathe.

I’ll light a
candle sew
a story you
will know.

Maybe bass
from your
tape deck
it was pure.

So let me I
will do well
to tell where
love dwelled.

In a lane so
dark a night.
Stars in sky,
were bright.

Crickets low
chirped smile
kiss we away
did all vile.

In a cove a
place dear.
I light a match
burn it Dear.

I’ll send to
a page gone.
In an ash,
it belongs.
