Leave Me To My Sorrow

Falling in the air,
I see a warm eye.
My descent is one
last final goodbye.

I can’t seem fine
when a storm falls
upon me tears are
on a cheek crawl.

All is familiar too
much I’ve been too
free and reckless I
feel the skies blue.

Maybe I can be a
man you’d admire.
But all angels see
me and see a liar.

All is familiar too
much I’ve got to
get a grip on why
you shed a tear too.

Nonsense is it or
did I strike a chord?
Only addled sense
is all I can afford.

See a deluge a rain,
the gloom resonates.
Though the sun it is
shinning on my face.

Don’t let me bring
you down to there.
My pain reminds me
fragile I need repair.
