Mad For The Moment

They say it is black
in the very crux of
a land I dwell I’ve
said it’s not enough.

I love this gravitas
we supply to black.
I love this jigsaw so
I play a game back.

What is your wish
my demure sort lad?
I tell you it is one
I’m sure that I had.

You see I am lost
as much as you see.
Into eternal chasms,
I delve in curiosity.

I ask questions like,
who draws these lines?
As if they had bones,
in this void a spine.

So level off the angst,
swell is sure for me.
I am beaming light a
set of eyes and teeth.

The black is friend,
here I’m quite mad.
Here I am today but
gone tomorrow glad.
