Quiet As Depth Of Sea

Twist profusely
vines of fruit swell.
Is it within you to
exert hurt dispel?

I think of ways I
could shoot air
with my own arm
lay waste all cares.

Yet the alleys of
a street of disease
course in veins in
chorus we plead.

Need the angel I
knew a place calm
upon grass I lay I
could study dawn.

The day young I
beg unto my bliss
to overcome all I
see hurt as this.

Yield does fruit in
my icy cold arteries.
Cold enough quiet
as depths of seas.

Awesome daunting
is a task to grasp
what I must so that
I can refuse this flask.
