For Your Glamour

I was in a closed
gate I was captured.
All I have is now
on the floor raptured.

I toss into the air,
in a fervent manner,
this world is yours;
in it you find glamour.

You’ve instructed I
hear your dulcet tune.
Find me now you do
in corners of my room.

Where the gate swings
it is now my advantage.
There is where the hurt
can create great damage.

I retain my options my
many points of view.
The wine in your hand
has led us here to muse.

Little stars are but dust
packed away tightly burn.
And from the ash a great
phoenix mine churns.

Sing sweetly not for
the world is certainly not
a thing of great beauty;
in some corners we rot.

The curve your leg,
a gate to a passion,
brings me to my knees
in a reverent fashion.
