Liquefy the dawn to
inject it in under skin.
The place I’ve ended up
isn’t where I did begin.
I won’t live in a dismay,
I a morsel of flesh flayed,
beg the buzz to numb me
or my sanity will cave.
The stars call me as I
sleep on branches rough
scratching to scar me I
need next day’s touch.
The way I am now is a
way I don’t comprehend.
Changed by ill tounges I
need dawn’s drug again.
Bring me tomorrow now
I need celestial mirth.
To lift me up for now for I
feel the perils of earth.
🙌 Love this!
