Past All My Scars

on

Abused my remains
feel all of my pain;
in my coffin it rains a
substance that stains.

Tears I affix in tombs,
the walls of my room,
I want to escape soon
as uncertainty looms.

So I quiet my tounge
and let thoughts run
for the hell or for fun
I sink deeply undone.

I’ll close my eyes dear.
I shall never ever fear
the unknown I appear
before you so sincere.

Companion you are
have seen past scars
and all the briar barbs;
I rise to feel your arms.

Elevate my disposition
you put me in position
where my heart listens
and as if gold I glisten.
