From The Lips

Blackened reactions
so loquacious breathe.
I retract from the lips
cease all that is weak.

To grow I’d do well
if not for your spell.
I’ve a weakness I fail,
your lips me compel.

I see us and I sweat,
in my mind I regret,
all the things that let
eat at me I try forget.

All of this life’s strife
cut sharp as a knife;
spur me eternal life,
a voice echo in night.

Just the words from
a glorious kingdom
gives me cause some;
I hope more to come.

Enchant do the lips,
blackened now quit
the gossip that slips
finds me ill equipped.

Where shall I go now?
Exposed a heart foul
puts me on brink how
do I purge hurt out?
