I know that you’re trapped
I know that you’re tired.
All that has been between
us has caused you perspire.
I will not let it ever escape,
the tension from us makes
all that was intertwined it
causes you so much angst.
Now that I know torture
was abound within arms
that promised not a scratch
to keep you safe of harm.
I was a riddle maybe times
maybe I care not so much.
Arms and hands they’re for
now someone elses touch.
The glass reflects all well
the bounds that resound
upon brittle earth here I
have contentious found.
Break through to the other
side so you can assume
that there on the other side
me I was not ever consumed.
I never wrote countless
words to celebrate forever
the weight undone you did
make light as if a feather.
I never gave all and more
to anyone else I’ve known.
Break through the glass to
see your eyes were home.
I turned cheeks no care
for others went nowhere.
As I carried myself from
all over here to over there.
Circumspect the trip lips
leave still for to hear it all.
The trip for me my love I’ll
always a home now call.
Seeing yourself reflect in
everything down to our sin
it has its start my love and
now my love it has an end.
Lovely poem 👍 deep imagination! 🤝
